Q:
Which delivery service do you use?

A:
For UK customers both Royal Mail & courier services are available, overseas orders are sent via Airmail. Is some cases where the Royal Mail option is secected, heavier packages may be sent via carrier. The use of a carrier for heavier orders reduces cost, this is reflected in our delivery charges. UK customers can also order offline, using the mail order price list which includes Second Class Post.

Q:
How long will it take for my order to arrive?

A:
Stock items will normally be dispatched the next working day after purchase, although occasionally it may take up to three working days to post. If a longer lead time is foreseen then a notice will be place at the top of all shopping cart pages (only visible in Javascript enabled browsers). The postal system can be subject to delays but UK customers can normally expect their goods to arrive 1 to 2 working days after dispatch (First Class Post) or 2 to 5 working days (Second Class). Delivery for EU customers 5 to 7 days after dispatch. Non EU overseas deliveries usually take longer & can also can also be held up while awaiting customs clearance.
All stated delivery times apply from the day of dispatch, Working Days exclude weekends & Public Holidays.

Q:
How are postage costs calculated?

A:
Royal Mail postage is calculated by weight.
Courier delivery is at a fixed cost, regardless of order size.

Q:
For UK packages Royal Mail also charges according to size. Is this taken into account?

A:
There is no direct means of allowing for this, It would be necessary weigh & quote for every order manually. This would increase handling times & costs, resulting in higher P&P charges. For the lower weight packages I work on an average of the two tariffs. In some cases your order may be delivered in more than one letter.

Q:
Can I check on P&P costs before I purchase?

A:
Yes, you can see P&P costs at any time. Just click the 'view cart' link, found at the top of any shop page, enter your shipping zone & press the recalculate button. You are not committed to order & can still continue shopping, amend the cart contents or cancel.

Q:
Is there a minimum order size?

A:
Yes, for online purchases 3.95 (excluding P&P).

Q:
Do you post worldwide?

A:
I post to the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, United States & Canada.
Can I collect items in person?

A:
Sorry but this is a mail order only business & I'm currently unable to offer customer collections. This is due to restrictions placed by both my property & business insurers.
