Toggle Catches

Toggle catches (also known as toggle clips or toggle latches) are normally fitted in pairs, one either side of the baseboard joint. They ensure fast & secure connection of model railway baseboards. Normally straight toggle clips are used but where baseboards joints form either an 'L' or 'T' shape then right-angled toggle catches should be used on the internal corners.

Toggle clips are only used to hold baseboards together, to ensure correct baseboards alignment dowels should be used.

Prices quoted are for one catch, two are needed for each baseboard joint.

These toggle clips also have many other uses. I also supply additional catches & latches for securing flaps, doors, covers & folding shelves on model railway baseboards.

Large Right-Angled Toggle Catch

For "L" shaped baseboard joints use one of these catches on the right-angled side with a straight catch on the opposite side. In the case of a "T" shaped joint use two right-angled catches. Fitting screws included.
